Social networking website is dominating the major portion of the virtual world. Today most of the companies publish their advertisement through online to get their message across the masses. But unfortunately a few advertisement on internet is scam. Clicking on these advertisement you will be fall on a cyber attack.

3) Keep your friends close but your security software closer:
One of the biggest mistake of users is they don't keep their security software up to date. If your security software is up to date then a spyware will prevent to install of  an unauthorised software in case of a cyber attack while a firewall will make sure no outsider  will get access into your computer.

4) Keep an eye out for a website's reputation:
If you are  interested to make an purchase from online. You have to make sure that your credit cards details are not going to wrong hand. In this case you can search about the website reputation from where you are going to purchase.

5) Avoid signing up on website:
Most of the website you come across ask for signign up with user name, email adress and a passward. You do not need to give any personal information on a website like these, you might not need to receive any newsletters. Because hacker try to hack your information through newsletter.

6)  Use protected networks:
Try to abvoid to connect to an unsecure network if you don't want to put your information at risk. Anyone connected to same  wi-fi network  as you are can break your in and get access to your computer,

7) No asking or telling your passward:
Thsi  one may seem like a no brainer, but this is actually the major reason to get hacked. You are responsible for your own security, telling passward to anyone means you are practically begging for bieng hacked.

8) Public Post:
If you post on a public forum, try to make yourself more anonymous as possible. Try to avoid putting up a picture and more details information than required.
9) Business details:
Under any circumstances don't use your office email address, phone number or any other contact information on public websites. Not only you are telling people where you are working but also you are making your career at stake. One little incident may cost your job.

10)  Keep your family safe:
Teach your kids about how they can keep themselves and their family safe by being cautious about what they do online.
